About Agricultural Genome to Phenome Initiative

The AG2PI project is a three-year grant from the USDA-National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA). The objective of AG2PI is to assemble and prepare a transdisciplinary community to conduct agriculture genome-to-phenome (G2P) research. Goals include: developing a vision for ag G2P research; identifying research gaps and opportunities and fostering solutions to them; and disseminating findings to the broader community. To accomplish these goals the AG2PI team will sponsor and coordinate field days, training workshops, conferences, and seed grants.
