Open Joint-Stock Company “AGBank” was established in 1992 and has become one of Azerbaijan’s leading banks over that period. The Bank’s shareholders include 2 largest organizations: International Finance Corporation (IFC) and US Investment Fund “Kazimir Investment LTD”. -IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, is the largest global development institution focused exclusively on the private sector in developing countries, which has owned 17.5% stock of Azerigazbank since 2006. -US Investment Fund “Kazimir Investment LTD” has owned 10% stock of Azerigazbank since 2008. At present AGBank offers a wide range of modern banking services including cash and settlement services, consumer and business loans, corporate loans, deposits, plastic cards, urgent money transfers, documentary operations, travel checks, commercial checks and etc. AGBank builds the client relations based on the principle of being as helpful and useful to clients as possible, which is reflected both in the Bank’s slogan – “Zəngin olmaq haqqınızdır” (“Your right to wealth”), and in specific actions and services. One of the main tasks is to continually improve the quality of customer service, expand the range of services and optimize their terms and conditions. The Bank’s client base includes a great number of companies and institutions from different economic sectors, such as industry, tourism, telecommunications, transport, construction, agriculture, trade and services. The main activity of Bank is financing of production and trading sectors of the Azerbaijani Republic. The Bank’s services are also used by tens of thousands of individual clients. For the period of 2000-2010 years an official auditor of the Bank was an International Auditor’s Company “PricewaterhouseCoopers”. Since 2011 an official auditor of the Bank is an International Auditor’s Company “KPMG”.
