About Alliance for Genetic Counseling Fellowship
The Master of Science in Genetic Counseling Program at the University of Pennsylvania received a generous $9.5 million grant from the Warren Alpert Foundation to increase diversity in genetic counseling. The Alliance to Increase Diversity in Genetic Counseling, funded by this grant, is a consortium of five graduate genetic counseling programs working together to achieve this goal. This innovative program will provide full two-year scholarships, stipends, mentorship, and a unique curriculum focused on diversity and inclusion to fifty students pursuing their MSGC degrees at one of the participating programs over the next five years.
