The Age-Friendly Institute (est. 2019) has three initiatives:
a) Since 2006, the worldwide Certified Age Friendly Employer (CAFE) program has identified and recognized best workplaces for older adults. It also certifies age-friendly products and services.
b) AgeFriendly.com is a reviews and ratings website created for/with older adults and their family caregivers, aggregating all things 'age-friendly', focusing on employment (vetting by the Institute), communities (vetting by the WHO and its worldwide affiliates) and care (vetting by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement).
c) The Institute works with government, academic, non-profit and for-profit partners to develop shared language and measures that describe what it means to be age-friendly in all settings. It provides professional development and training in 'age-friendly principles & practices'.
Mature Caregivers (est. 2012) is a tech-enabled, in-home care service pairing caregivers age 50+ with elders requiring care. It provides direct service in Massachusetts and makes referrals to affiliates across the U.S.
RetirementJobs.com (est. 2006) is a leading career site for people age 50+ with 1.4+ million U.S. members.
