Age-It, è il principale polo scientifico per la ricerca sulla longevità in salute e l’invecchiamento della popolazione italiana. Il nostro è il Paese pioniere nello sperimentare un forte cambiamento demografico, rappresentando un vero e proprio “laboratorio empirico” sul processo dell'invecchiamento. Guidato dall'Università di Firenze, l'iniziativa coinvolge oltre 25 importanti istituti di ricerca italiani attraverso un'alleanza capillare tra le forze delle scienze sociali, delle scienze biomediche e delle scienze tecnologiche. Finanziato dal Piano Nazionale di Ripresa e Resilienza nelle linee di investimento previste dal Ministero dell'Università e della Ricerca.

Age-It is a research programme that aims at generating a quantum leap, making Italy the leading scientific hub in research on ageing, and a state-of-the-art “empirical laboratory” regarding the ageing process. The initiative is led by the University of Florence, with the collaboration of over 25 top research institutions in Italy.
