Age UK Devon is a local charity and affiliated with Age UK. We are passionate about ensuring older people are supported to lead fulfilling lives and are able to actively engage within their local communities. We are driven by the needs and aspirations of people in later life. We believe that living longer should be celebrated and everything we do is designed to change the way we age for the better.
Established in 1950, Age UK Devon (registered charity 1019018 and company 02773453) helps older people maintain their self-respect and independence and enjoy freedom of choice and equal opportunities.
Our focus, more than ever, is older people who need us the most, people living in poverty or just above the poverty line and those who find themselves without the care and support the need.
As an independent charity we need to raise our own funds. The money we raise goes directly to helping older people in Devon access the support they need to live happy, fulfilled and independent lives.
Age UK Devon is part of the Age UK network which includes Age Scotland, Age Cymru and Age NI and more than 125 local Age UKs throughout England.
