AGICOA is a non-profit collective management organization established in 1981 by and for independent producers. Our members have benefited from over EUR 2 billion in royalties put into distribution over the last 20 years. We monitor life cycle use of over 1.6 Mio audiovisual works registered by more than 23,000 rightsholders. AGICOA negotiate, collect and distributes royalties from the use of audiovisual works, whether via cable, satellite, mobile or any other similar means.
AGICOA assists producers in all aspects of their secondary rights management, from the declarations of the works through negotiating and licensing until final payment.
AGICOA helps operators to obtain the necessary authorizations from the producers for the use of their work, and provide them assurance they comply with their copyright obligations. It also helps them meet the standard requirements of royalties’ payment.
