AGOVIA is a portmanteau of two family names: Agostini and Govia. AGOVIA was established in 2023, in Brunswick, Melbourne. All pieces, both ready-made and bespoke, are crafted with intention, from responsibly sourced materials. AGOVIA, in spirit and design, draws upon the heritage and artistry embedded within Australian, Carib, Corsican and Trinidadian communities and culture – each distinct in aesthetic and idiosyncrasy, yet interwoven through the shared experiences of my family. All AGOVIA jewellery is forged from 100% recycled and refined alloys of platinum, gold or silver; all of which are nickel-free. Every gemstone has been hand-selected for colour, cut, clarity, and scintillescence. We source directly from trusted merchants in Australia, Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Thailand, the US, and the UK – a network which we continue to grow.
