A.G. Packaging Systems Limited was founded in 1995 to source, import, distribute and maintain packaging machinery and supply packaging materials. The backbone of the company was the Director with a technical expertise who had renovated and upgraded all the machinery used in the conversion facilities of the group.
The engineering facilities were overkill and thus naturally expanded into offering its experience in packaging to the Industry at large. In 1995 the operation was moved to new dedicated premises of 720 sq.mts and soon became a leading supplier and integrator of packaging systems through representation of leading brands and choice materials.
In 2004 the group invested in a new 3 storey Headquarters of 1000sq.mts per floor to house all the distribution, administration and management of the subsidiaries.
This impressive building housing a 600sq.mts showroom area with 100 linear mts of corner window exposure in a busy commercial district situated on one of Maltaâs main arteries. Today the company represents Multivac Sepp Hagenmuller Gmbh, Markem Imaje , Digi Teraoka, Zebra Technologies, Lock metal detection systems and many other major players in packaging technology. In 2005 A.G. Packaging was entrusted to exclusively represent and maintain Ice Cream Machines from Taylor Company Inc. of Rockton Illinois, a division of Carrier UTC Inc.
This move brought about exposure to a new sector of food service equipment. Today the company efficiently services QSR chains on a 24/7 basis such as McDonalds, Burger King, KFC, Millieâs Cookies etc.. In 2009 additional brands were entrusted to the company such as the Manitowoc Food Service group and Franke CS.
This move warranted the name change to AGP Systems Limited. Today the company is rapidly expanding in the Food Service sector and plans to become a leading force in the consultancy, planning, and installation of industrial kitchens with the backup of leading international brands.
