Agri Deshiya was founded in 2019 with a desire to elevate Sri Lanka's agricultural production through sustainable utilization of the island’s natural resources.
The founding pride and the start of our journey is the Kithul tree - one of Sri Lanka's long-standing classics. Currently, our focus is on innovating and revolutionising the Kithul industry in Sri Lanka through new products, technologies and uncompromising standards. We intend to venture into Cinnamon - an authentic Ceylonese spice which we hope to harness, to manufacture 100% organic, handmade cinnamon quills, based on a single-estate model of production.
We are more than just a company that wants to engage in production. Agri Deshiya is grounded on the principles of people care, earth care and fair share, and we follow the best ethical and innovative practices in all our operations, and consequently strive to play a pivotal role in developing the technology required to enhance agricultural production to bring long-term benefits to the nation as a whole.
