The training model is very different to what else is on offer. Agricademy’s aim is to train, upskill, and develop successful careers by providing the tools needed in the early stages of employment to do well at work, and deliver it in a way the next generation wants to learn.
Agricademy’s online courses include videos featuring experts with task-focussed and bite-sized learnings. There are also health and wellbeing modules such as MoveWise, EatWise, MoneyWise, and Communication, for those life skills needed to succeed at work.
Online training is supported by on farm, hands-on, practical courses that, when combined, build the skills required for those early years on farm.
Hundreds have taken Agricademy wool harvesting courses in the past 12 months, with the model now being rolled out to the dairy sector.
