AWB is commited to contribute in the increasing demand for food and income security by providing farmers and food producer’s support, knowledge, information, tools and sustainable resources to improve and maintain sustainable agriculture for every community. Addressing the critical needs of our time AWB offers a platform to work on: •Food and livelihood security and rural poverty alleviation; •Improving animal welfare •Conservation of biodiversity in all its forms •Supporting agricultural ( including pastoral, fishery and forest) communities; •process management and optimization •Innovation trough research, science and technology •Increasing the capacity of quality production •Optimizing the viability of agricultural business •Training, education and certification for international trade; •Providing a platform for exchange and cooperation •Contributing to sustainable ecological and social environment Providing a framework to embrace a diversity of partners from a wide range of approaches to food production, conservation and resource management; Agriculture without Borders, as an independent NGO, wants to stimulate contacts and exchange of expertise between people and communities of different cultures and religions all over the world. A prosperous agriculture is best served by open attitudes and contacts between organisations and communities. This contributes to mutual understanding and prevents conflicts which may lead to humanitarian disasters or create obstacles to the growth of agriculture and economic cooperation.
