Agri-Food Pohjois-Savo

Agri-Food Cluster North Savo fosters development of regional actors in agriculture and food sector for promoting vitality of the rural industries. The main aim is to develop partnerships, share knowledge and experiences, and to create project initiatives by coordinating and facilitating collaboration. Our vision is to make North Savo the world's leading sustainable rural economy region. The Agri-Food North Savo's social media channels are managed by the Agri-Food Network project, which promotes collaboration and innovation between RDI organizations and agri-food businesses at regional, national, and international levels. The project strengthens the cluster's role as a developer of the agri-food chain in Pohjois-Savo, engages stakeholders, and creates customer-oriented services. Key focus areas include the green transition, sustainable practices, internationalization, and the utilization of technological and digital solutions. Funding is provided by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the Regional Council of Pohjois-Savo, with 75% from the EU and state, 24.62% from other public funding, and 24.62% from private funding.
