La actividad agrícola de la Región del Biobío, se encuentra en un proceso de transición en su actividad económica, pasando desde la industria forestal y lechera a la frutícola.
Ante este desafío, surge Agroceler, iniciativa financiada por el Gobierno Regional del Biobío, a través del Fondo de Innovación para la Competitividad y adjudicado por la Universidad Andrés Bello, este proyecto, se enmarca dentro de la estrategia de desarrollo regional 2014-2030.
Con presencia en la Región del Bíobio y en proceso de expansión a otras zonas del País, ofrece servicios de tecnología y automatización en el rubro agroindustrial para impulsar la cadena de valor de distintas líneas de productos como cherries y berries de exportación.
