AgroExact is een fris, energiek bedrijf bestaande uit drie jonge ondernemers, tevens oud klasgenoten. Sinds de zomer van 2016 bundelen zij de krachten en voorzien zij de landbouw onder de naam AgroExact van lokale, meteorologische informatie. Voor de akker is daartoe een meetpaal ontwikkeld om lokaal basisgrootheden te meten. Slimme interpretatie van deze gegevens leidt tot een nauwkeurig inzicht in de weersomstandigheden. Daarbij kunnen weersverwachtingen specifiek voor de lokale akker verbeterd worden door gemeten lokale weereffecten als correctie te laten werken op standaard verwachtingen. Al deze informatie wordt inzichtelijk gemaakt via een overzichtelijke, intuïtieve website en app voor telefoon en tablet.
Met Sven Boogaard als operationeel hoofd, Thomas Brocken als eindverantwoordelijke van de software development en Niek van Andel als motor van de meteorologische ontwikkelingen, hoopt AgroExact uit te groeien tot een stabiele, betrouwbaar factor in de informatievoorziening op meteorologische gebied binnen de agrarische sector.
