ARIC is an industry consortium for bringing Farmers, Entrepreneurs, Researchers, Traders, Bankers, Educators, and Authorities / Regulators together for the benefit of Rural Development. Individual ARIC center will act as an Innovation Incubation Hub for the local rural community. Individual ARIC will be established as a self-funded non-profit or for-profit research and development center that will generate employment and business opportunities for farmers and other rural citizens and improve their quality of Life and Living Standards. Objectives: > To bring Innovative Education to the Rural Areas to create a new generation of Rural Workforce and economic diversification. > To create an effective Rural Startup business ecosystem by matching Innovation with Opportunity. > To create Rural Entrepreneurship Development and matching ideas with investment opportunities. > To Increase Safety & Security, Improve Quality, Increase Profitability, Reduce Wastage and Protect the Sovereignty in agriculture and food forwarding. > To Demonstrate the business case of innovative technologies like AI, IoT & Blockchain for a large number of application areas in Rural farming, Health Care and food sector. > To modernize supply chain & transportation to/from Rural Areas for increased trade/opportunities. > Ensure user acceptability of Innovative Technology solutions in the farming and food sector by addressing user needs, including security, privacy, and trust issues. > Ensure the sustainability of Technology Innovative solutions beyond the project by validating the related business models and setting up an IoT ecosystem for large-scale uptake. Some of the Focus Areas: Precision Farming, Modernizing Rural Transportation, Animal Tracking and Health Management, Dairy Production, Processing & forwarding, Fruits & Vegetables - health sovereignty and safety & Soil Heath, Modernizing general Supply Chain & Forwarding, Smart Rural Storage & Warehousing, Smart Village / Rural Lodge.
