Agrotech Hub Foundation

AgroTech Hub Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to transforming the agricultural sector through innovative automated solutions. By integrating mechanical, electronic, and computerized systems, we develop cutting-edge technologies that empower farmers to optimize and automate their manual processes. Our goal is to enhance the local agricultural Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and secure a sustainable food supply, particularly in Puerto Rico, where 85 percent of the food consumed is imported. We focus on developing autonomous machinery capable of operating safely and efficiently on challenging terrain, addressing the inefficiencies of traditional farming methods. Our organization is dedicated to investigating and implementing state-of-the-art tools for sustainable agriculture, with a special emphasis on harnessing advancements in robotics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. AgroTech Hub Foundation also prioritizes education and training, equipping agricultural professionals with the knowledge and skills to effectively utilize new technologies, thereby improving their processes and increasing crop yields. We actively benchmark and share best practices in technology development within the agricultural sector, and we assist professionals in implementing continuous improvement projects and process automation. By partnering with visionary individuals and organizations, we prepare the next generation of tech-savvy professionals from diverse disciplines—such as engineering, agricultural sciences, environmental studies, business, and data analytics—to transform the industry and decrease reliance on imports.
