Agua DB, founded in 2017, is an ion exchange specialist company responsible for the design and development of advanced Ion Exchange plants, with over 20 Ion Exchange plants operating in both the UK and the US. The company is responsible for the creation of NTPlus, the game-changing solution to the ‘Nitrate Timebomb’ which offers a circular process that recovers nitrate from groundwater and wastewater treatment plants, converts potash into sulphate of potash – which improves a crops resilience to climate change - high nitrate irrigation water and clean drinking water. No waste is produced and the carbon footprint of the recovered nutrients is almost 1/10th of the footprint of conventional manufacturing processes. NTPlus offers a sustainable response to the world’s nitrate problem. Agua DB also offers independent advice on plant design and process optimisation, often dealing with the complications of multiple contaminants.
