American Honey Bee Protection Agency (Ahbpa) company information, Employees & Contact Information

The American Honey Bee Protection Agency (AHBPA) is devoted to saving the world one sting at a time. We were deemed a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization by the IRS in 2014, but we have been doing this hard work out in the Texas heat since 2006. The AHBPA has one goal: to provide an ecofriendly solution for unwanted bee hives or swarms to our fellow Texans by humanely removing and relocating the bees instead of their being killed by exterminators. For this reason, our Mission Statement is simple: We save bees from people and people with bees. As you may or may not know, the honey bee population is drastically declining and has been for years worldwide. This is due to many factors including deadly mites, habitat destruction, Colony Collapse Disorder and climate change. On a local level the extermination of honey bee hives tragically comes from ignorance. People are afraid of things they don’t understand and so when someone encounters a bee hive, either on their personal property or in their place of business, their first reaction is fear. A very real fear of their family members or customers getting stung. Often, they will dispense of the bees by calling an exterminator who will destroy the hive and murder thousands of bees by use of poison and/or pesticides. As an alternative, we humanely remove unwanted bee hives and relocate them to one of our bee sanctuaries where we help them to thrive. This is the,” saving bees from people” part of the Mission Statement & our primary focus. We want to rescue as many of these vital pollinators as we possibly can. Our dream is of having Rescue Teams stationed across not only Texas, but eventually the entire country…possibly the world. We want to educate the public and eventually provide a 100% free option to people that they can humanely save the bees instead of having them eradicated.
