Ahead Academy

As a social enterprise, we are part of a mission to bring equity, access, and opportunities to young Black people in Chicago. At Ahead, young girls engage in interactive day camps and workshops, where they gain career skills, a professional network, and a set of tools to help them thrive in their chosen profession –all while learning what is required to run a successful hair business. Every purchase and partnership from Ahead directly supports our mission and brings programming to Black communities throughout Chicago.
