Ahiska Student Association

The purpose of Ahiska Student Association, ASA, is to establish and advocate the principles and privileges of higher education through mentoring, networking, leadership, and advancement opportunities. From the beginning, our mission has been to establish a community ambition for advancement that appreciates and encourages education. First, we must accurately define education as a mechanism for intellectual enlightenment. Wisdom leads to awareness and rational decisions to achieve most desirable outcomes. We must recall our history to appreciate the sole relevance of our robbed education that hindered our community to autonomously dictate our future, advocate our rights, and provide means for social advancement. Furthermore, we must establish that education is the exclusive means to understand, cherish, and preserve our endangered culture.
