Ahmet Alataş Workshop

Alataş Architecture & Consulting was founded in 1996 by Ahmet Alataş in Vienna. After winning their first prize with a competition project which was the school building of the Izmir American College, the office was moved to Istanbul by Alataş in 2001. Emre Acar, who has been in Ahmet Alataş's team since 2006, worked as an AP at Alataş Architecture & Consulting between 2010 and 2015. In 2017, the office space of Alataş Architecture & Consulting moved to Emine Uşaklıgil House, the first building of Ahmet Alataş, and was transformed into Ahmet Alataş Workshop. Office space works not only as a working zone for AAW but also as a collective field where students can take part in the same body to gain depth and experience in different disciplines regarding architecture and design.
