Modern diseases are taking its toll on our economy and quality of life. The exploding burden on our healthcare system can only be partly explained by an aging population. Are people supposed to become ill at an older age? A growing group of doctors and scientists beliefs that 'Western' diseases are mainly being caused by a mismatch of our lifesyle and the circumstances under which we evolved as humans.
In order to promote this evolutionary perspective on healthcare, the Ancestral Health foundation NL is organizing symposiums about once a year since 2015.
