With the raising number of satellites and ever-increasing space traffic, there is a critical need for effective space traffic management systems to ensure the safety and sustainability of space activities. The Institute seeks to train new talents within the UK space sector and attract international partners to establish presence in the country for the development and exploitation of technologies of interest. Objectives • Develop and commercialise AI-powered solutions tailored to the specific needs of the space industry • Forge strategic partnerships with space agencies, satellite operators, and aerospace companies to pilot and deploy AI technologies • Become a leading facilitator & provider of AI solutions for space applications, especially within space traffic management
