AIBT Bahamas

AIBT is the representative body for Bank and Trust Companies operating within The Bahamas. Founded in 1976 AIBT accepts a wide mandate to represent the industry in its dealings with The Government, industry regulators and comparable foreign associations. Through its Code of Conduct, AIBT articulates best business practices for its membership in keeping with the jurisdiction's standing as a premier international financial centre. In addition, AIBT maintains a strong commitment to social issues with a particular focus on training local Bahamian staff and the promotion of Bahamas financial services.
