AIChE MIT-WPU Student Chapter

The American Institute of Chemical Engineering MIT-WPU Student Chapter, established in December 2017 under the guidance of Prof. Datta B. Dandge, is dedicated to fostering connections between students, recruiters, professors, and industry engineers. The Student Chapter is committed to equipping students for successful professional careers through career development, networking, and collaboration with industry representatives. By closely collaborating with academic departments and industry professionals, our chapter aims to prepare students for their future endeavours, enabling them to apply their knowledge in a global, economic, environmental, and societal context. We provide a valuable platform for chemical engineering students to expand their knowledge, gain insightful experiences, and connect with the broader world, making it an exceptional opportunity for personal and professional growth. Awards and Achievements - 1. Chem-E-Car Competition (AIChE) A five-time winner at the Student Regional Conference (SRC) and qualified for the Annual Student Conference (ASC) four times since 2018. 2. Jeopardy 2022 (AIChE) First runner-up in SRC 2022. 3. K12 Outreach Competition (AIChE) Won in the 6th to 8th-grade category at SRC 2022 and 2023. 4. Outstanding Student Chapter Award (AIChE) MIT-WPU Student chapter: Consistently received the award for five consecutive years, starting from 2018.
