AID LANKA

In 2004 after the devastating Tsunami in Sri Lanka, few friends got together and formed Aid Lanka UK. The immediate mission was to help victims whatever way possible that were substantially affected by this disaster. Today, our mission continues to help the needy, underprivileged in Sri Lanka with multiple projects from helping orphan to supporting cancer treatment. Some of our much-needed projects focus on supporting education, access to clean water, access to electricity, health, and housing in remote village areas of Sri Lanka, that are often deprived of necessities. Aid Lanka is currently working on several projects to provide water to improve health & wellness in remote villages, supplying wheelchairs for disabled people living in Sri Lanka. Aid Lanka is a United Kingdom registered charity with registration no 1190696 with charities commission in England & Wales that is run by a team of 100% volunteers.
