Founded in 2007.AidVia is a committed non-profit organization focused on relieving hunger and food insecurity in Uganda’s most vulnerable communities. In Uganda, over 2 million children are malnourished, and 1 in 3 households struggles with food insecurity. Hunger is a major cause of preventable deaths, particularly among children, contributing significantly to the country’s high child mortality rate. Natural disasters like severe droughts and floods have only worsened the crisis, leaving countless families without access to consistent food sources. These extreme weather events, driven by climate change, have caused widespread crop failures, directly impacting food availability and driving up malnutrition rates. At AidVia, our primary goal is to address this urgent need. In the past year alone, we have reached and supported over 15,000 children by delivering nutritious meals to those in need and providing essential support to families impacted by food shortages. We are not only focused on immediate relief but are also committed to sustainable solutions. Our programs include collaborating with local farmers to improve agricultural productivity and resilience, helping communities recover from the devastation of natural disasters. Our efforts are making a tangible difference, but the need remains great. Every contribution allows us to deliver life-saving meals and support sustainable agricultural initiatives, ensuring long-term food security for Uganda’s most at-risk populations.
