o A group of self-motivated, socially-conscious working professionals, volunteering for a common cause o Started our social intervention project Prayas in 2005 for the education of a few children who were rag picking, begging, working in nearby garages, or engaged in child labour, in Sector 16 slum of Noida o For ease of organization and scaling up, in Sep-2012 we registered as charitable trust Association for India’s Development- Noida (AID Noida), with 80G and 12A certification of Income Tax o At present, Prayas is providing education to 150 underprivileged children in various classes in K-12 grade
