She then re-purposes and re-designs it for a vast amount of platforms, services and media. She does so in a way that looks, feels and behaves like it belongs on each platform. The overarching academic blueprint for her capabilities was heavily inspired by Uses and Gratifications theory, as well as Network Effect theory. AÍFE was designed to be an automated, organic and unobtrusive tool, that helps ordinary people put cross-media communication best-practices in place. AÍFE's footprint engine employs neural nets, graph and constraint solving, computer vision algorithms and natural language processing. Her capabilities extend from semantic text analysis to color theory. She has a concept of various design trends and directions, contrast, typography, placement, salient regions, faces and negative space. She is able to relate industries, use cases and user profiles to suitable design preferences. The patented content fluidity technology behind AÍFE, lets her adapt content to virtually any platform, service or medium. Extending far beyond websites, AÍFE is currently able to faithfully adapt content to platforms as diverse as Interactive Voice Reponse (phone) systems, print media and - as a technology demonstrator - the 1982 Commodore 64 micro computer. AÍFE's primary technologies were researched, developed and patented in the United States, Europe and Australia over a period 5 years by a small team in Melbourne, Australia. The team's multi-decade expertise comprises AI, communication science, multi-platform software architecture, visual communication and design.
