The vision of AIGA Northwest Arkansas is an inclusive, design-driven Northwest Arkansas. The mission of AIGA Northwest Arkansas is to advance design as a professional craft, strategic advantage and vital cultural force. Through a program of lectures, exhibitions, competitions and other projects in the public interest, AIGA seeks to: UNITE the creative community in Northwest Arkansas AIGA acts as a forum for design practitioners, educators, enthusiasts, and patrons to connect and exchange ideas and information. We know that our best work is done together. ENCOURAGE excellence in the communication arts We promote high standards of design by recognizing and celebrating great thinking, defining and encouraging ethical professional practice, and championing design education. EXPAND the role and influence of designers AIGA advocates an expansion of the role of designers at the strategic level in business, government, and cultural spheres.
