As the recognised palliative care sector’s institute, AIIHPC is a collaborative of hospices, health and social care services, universities, service user representation and support organisations on the island of Ireland.
We work together to advance education, research and practice and influence policy to improve the quality of life for people with palliative care needs and their families. We do this by:
• involving people with palliative care needs, their families and communities
in improving palliative care services
• working to ensure palliative care is available across the healthcare system
so people are supported as early as needed
• supporting the development of Specialist and Generalist Palliative Care
services for everyone who needs them.
