AI Launch Lab / Laboratoire Lancement IA has been operating AI training and internship programs since 2019 and seeks to launch an initiative to scale AI-competency training and upskilling for people across Canada.
We aim to help solve Canada’s AI training, talent, adoption, and equity gap by providing a rigorous, free, and accessible multi-month journey for students to learn state-of-the-art skills through the process of creation while also providing value in experimental and practical projects for small businesses.
Our objective is to ensure all Canadians from all backgrounds have opportunities to thrive during the ongoing economic and technological transformation that is poised to accelerate due to advances in AI. We are collaborating with Dawson College and Mitacs to scale up to 10,000 students per year by 2030.
