Aiming Higher (Reg Charity: 1144664)

Aiming Higher is a unique charity established in 2011 for disabled children and their families, set up to improve the children and families lives and offer them much needed support. We moved into our current premises in 2013, Aiming Higher Central, Church Street, Blackpool. This fantastic building offers a wide variety of facilities including soft play area, interactive ball pool and sensory room, which were refurbished in late 2016. We also have a beautiful parent’s room and counselling suite. We provide a four session stay and play programme, family support and Counselling services provided in collaboration with Blackpool and Fylde College. We also provide an extensive year-round programme of days out and events for our children and their families, for example a The Sandcastle Waterpark. We rely heavily on fundraising, donations, and sponsorship to provide these wonderful services for our precious children and families. Aiming Higher has gained the trust of more than 750 disabled children and their families since being founded 6 years ago. More than ever these children and families rely on our support, to maintain the relationships that we have created and so that we continue to make a difference to their lives.
