AIMS Global is a company that specializes in online courses and placing highly trained AIMS therapists (in-home or online) with families of autistic children. We offer a variety of options to support autistic individuals in optimizing their strengths and potential in everyday life. Directors, Karla Pretorius and Nanette Botha, have developed a support system according to the needs of individuals with specific learning patterns. Karla and Nanette have done extensive research with adults on the autism spectrum (and related disorders) to establish a program that is appropriate, accepting and stimulating to enhance learning opportunities. AIMS is an awareness and interest based approach that works with autistic individuals (and individuals with other related disorders). The focus of AIMS is on teaching concepts, rather than individual skills. AIMS is a holistic approach that addresses all areas of an individual’s development. AIMS Global has received accreditation through IBCCES, world-renowned credentialing authority, for the courses that we offer.
