L’AIPF R.Calvel a été créée en 1986 par des amis proches et des anciens élèves du Professeur Raymond Calvel, qui fut durant près d’un demi-siècle une sommité de la profession. Ce fut également l’un des meilleurs ambassadeurs du pain français à travers le monde (son premier voyage au Japon remonte à 1954). L’association prit d’abord le nom d’Amicale Calvel et, depuis 2014, elle s’appelle “Association Internationale du Pain Français” (AIPF-R. Calvel). Carrefour incontournable de rencontres professionnelles autour de la Boulangerie, elle rassemble aujourd’hui, plus de 270 adhérents. L’AIPF a pour vocation de favoriser les échanges professionnels et de participer au rayonnement du pain français dans le monde entier. Sa volonté est de favoriser la mutualisation des connaissances et des compétences au profit de l’ensemble des acteurs de la filière blé/farine/pain.
