Created in 2001 in Baie-Comeau to offer a better regional transport solution for a few destinations in Quebec; Air Liaison is expanding with a new owner as of 2012 to establish 12 destinations in the province and becomes one of the largest air carriers in Quebec. Now owned by Mathieu Gingras of Quebec City, who has a solid expertise in air transport, the company's evolution continues to grow and since January 2015 has offered medical evacuation services (Medevac).
