Founded on 2015, it is part of the European Space Agency’s technology transfer program which enables entrepreneurs to receive comprehensive business and technical support to set up their business using space technology for non-space industrial and commercial uses. Apart of selling products for the professional mapping market using Remotely Piloted Aerial System (RPAS), Airborne Projects is developing an Auto Docking System for Battery Swapping for zero down-time drone operation behind the ESA’s scope.
