The Aircraft Painter Certification Scheme (APCS) has been developed with industry experts to provide a training and certification program for aircraft painters.
The APC Scheme was introduced to provide a regulated opportunity for competent aircraft painters to gain recognition for their competence to work safely in, on, and around aircraft. This is essential in an industry where it is increasingly important to be able to verify a safe and efficient level of competence of persons prior to them being allowed to work on aircraft.
The APCS International certificate is a recognition of an aircraft painter’s competence in safely and efficiently working in, on, and around aircraft.
In order to qualify for an International Certificate in Aircraft Painting the individual has passed the APCS closed-book examination and is bound by the scheme’s code of ethics.
