The Airing SmartMask will address those patients who have a standard CPAP machine and who are non-compliant due to the difficulty and discomfort during exhalation. The SmartMask will especially help those patients whose therapy treatment level is 8 cmH2O or above (average is 10 cmH2O).
It is essentially a smart replacement mask. It has a small control box which is connected to the patient’s existing CPAP machine and replaces their hose and mask with comfortable and familiar nose pillow type arrangement and head gear.
