About All India Spices Exporters Forum
Established in 1987, All India Spices Exporters Forum is dedicated to protecting the interests of spice exporters and creating a sustainable, pro-development business environment for the spice industry and its stakeholders. Representing approximately 80% of India's spice exports in terms of value, AISEF proudly comprises a majority of the top spice exporters in the nation. Collaboration is key to our success. AISEF works closely with esteemed organizations such as the Spices Board of India, the Indian Institute of Spice Research, and the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India. We also engage with international agencies like Sustainable Spice Initiative - Global and IDH to stay up to date on technical and regulatory matters. Our involvement in setting standards for spices in global committees and Indian bureaus ensures that India remains a prominent player in the industry. Our mission is clear - to influence policies, catalyze technological advancements in the supply chain, disseminate market and scientific information, and support the growth of the spice industry. With India accounting for a significant share of world trade in spices, we are steadfast in overcoming challenges such as low productivity and stringent quality standards to empower the sector. AISEF believes in excellence at the grassroots level. By actively collaborating with government bodies involved in policy formulation, we advocate for export promotion, food safety, agricultural research, farming, & quality standards. Together with our partners, we strive to shape a future that embraces sustainability and food safety in the spice industry. Alongside our technical arm, World Spice Organisation (WSO), we focus on implementing sustainable agricultural practices and supporting the livelihood of the farming community. Through initiatives like the National Sustainable Spice Program (NSSP), we aim to improve economic viability, social soundness, and environmental responsibility in the industry.
