2019 marked 20 years for me in Silicon Valley. Raised in Houston, I moved to San Francisco as a freshly minted computer engineering graduate in 1999 to experience the tail-end of the first internet revolution. Living through and benefiting from the next wave of cloud adoption starting in the mid-2000s, I recognized in 2014 that another transition was underway, one where AI (artificial intelligence) is eating the same SaaS software which has slowly been consuming the world.
