AITP Lone Star – Mission: AITP Lone Star’s mission is to provide superior leadership and education in Information Technology. AITP Lone Star is dedicated to using the synergy of Information Technology partnerships to provide education and benefits to our members and to working with the industry to assist in the overall promotion and direction of Information Technology. AITP Lone Star – Value for all IT Professionals / Leaders Professional Networking Leadership & Education in People, Process and Technology Innovation Partnership AITP Lone Star – About Us: -Founded in 1951, the Association of IT Professionals (AITP) remains one of the country's most significant professional technology associations. -In October 2016, AITP became a subsidiary of CompTIA to leverage its strengths and bring more benefits to our members. CompTIA AITP was officially launched on July 27, 2017. -CompTIA AITP Dallas was named chapter of the year for growth in 2017. Soon, professional chapters were de-emphasized, and most closed, Dallas left. -In April 2024, AITP became a separate organization when CompTIA returned the brand and IP to AITP’s past leaders. -One of the nation's oldest chapters, AITP Dallas, is being remade into AITP Lone Star, an online chapter serving the state while we work with other AITP leaders across the country to rebuild the brand. -IT professional members have worked diligently since 1951 to ensure that meetings are content-based and that IT pros leave with new, applicable ideas for implementing digital people, processes, and technology change. -As one of the technology association’s more significant chapters of the past, the Lone Star Chapter will cover a wide range of people, processes, and information technologies by developing close relationships with other business and technology organizations, events, and partners.
