Aitrasound Medical Group

Established in Hong Kong since 2012, Aitrasound Medical Group is an innovative company focusing on 3D ultrasound imaging. We provide early diagnosis of chronic diseases and monitoring of other bone deformation including spinal deformity, making diagnosis and treatment more accurate, visualized and standardized. The R&D team is led by Professor Zheng Yongping from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Prof. Zheng served as the Founding Head of Biomedical Engineering in PolyU, ranked among the world’s top 2% most-cited scientists in rankings compiled by Stanford University in 2021, 2022 and 2023. The flagship brand Aitrasound® combines artificial intelligence and ultrasound to achieve radiation-free 3D medical imaging for chronic musculoskeletal diseases - anytime, anywhere, anyone and affordable. Scolioscan®, a sub-brand of Aitrasound®, is the world's first and the only ultrasound scoliosis assessment system with over 100 international patents. This system has been widely used in hospitals and clinics in Europe, Australia, Southeast Asia, Mainland China and Hong Kong. It has won many major awards in international innovation competitions and has proven its reliability and accuracy in more than 30 international medical publications.
