About Us: The AJBCC-JABCC Future Leaders Group was established to support the development of the “next generation” of Australia-Japan business leaders. Building on the contributions of current and past leaders, and with the goal of maintaining the longevity and strength of the bilateral relationship over the longer-term, the Group has created a network of Future Leaders who participate actively within the AJBCC, JABCC and the broader Australia-Japan relationship. What We Do: The Future Leaders Group makes significant contributions to the annual Australia Japan Joint Business Conference through the Future Leaders’ roundtable and Future Leaders' plenary session which take place as part of the conference schedule. The Future Leaders Group also provides input to the AJBCC and JABCC Executive Committees and builds relationships with other like-minded organisations. In addition, the Future Leaders convene on a regular basis to pursue initiatives and exchange ideas. Eligibility: The Future Leaders Group principally consists of individuals who are under 40 years of age and are considered by their respective organisations as prospective Future Leaders within their organisation as well as the Japan-Australia relationship. The AJBCC offers a subsidised annual membership rate where member companies involve their Future Leaders in this Group.
