Welcome to the official LinkedIn Page of the Association of Italian-Canadian Jurists of Quebec (AICJQ)! The Association of Italian-Canadian Jurists of Quebec (AICJQ) is the official association of lawyers, judges, notaries, professors, and law students in Quebec, of Italian origin, with a threefold mission to: 1. Establish a supportive network of Italian jurists, that fosters an atmosphere of unity and solidarity within the Italian community. AICJQ is dedicated to breaking down barriers that prevent professionals of Italian heritage from accessing opportunities in both the private and public sectors; 2. Celebrate the achievements of jurists within the Italian community, through annual banquets and the issue of bursaries to law students who excel academically; 3. Bring to light discriminatory practices perpetrated against the Italian-Canadian community, by denouncing sources of discrimination and seeking public redress for its victims. Through AICJQ’s eventual implementation of a free legal clinic and pro bono initiatives, it will cater to the needs of the Italian community as a whole;
