Akari Capital was set up by long time investment and finance professionals who contributed in building sustainable and impact investing globally in the last 2 decades. We believe in making good financial returns, while problem solving to green the planet and empower people and importantly grow. Yoshiko Saito and Yoko Sugita founded Akari Capital, with Mari Kogiso as an advisor. Akari Capital is in partnership with SDG Impact Japan and Paterson Sustainability. Akari Capital aims to bridge genuine climate and social investments and investors, with large institutional, corporate and public/governments through its impact platform and impact advisory business. The **Impact Platform** aggregates impact funds and direct investments that are tailor made to the investors’ strategic impact objectives. Akari Capital will support with referring to global opportunities, perform a detialed impact and financial due diligence, and create a well diversified strategic impact portfolio to be monitored closely for strategic impact and financial returns achievement. This is suited for corporates looking for strategic investment opportunities for new technology and renewable energy acquisition to transition/GX their existing business, as well as institutional investors looking for a well diversified portfolio in genuine impact investing with risk appropriate financial returns. The **Impact Advisory** business looks to support sustainable and impact investors as well as ESG investors, such as climate and social funds as well as institutional, corporate and public/governments as a general sparring partner or “fractional CSO” service, advancing investors’ climate and social strategy including disclosure and marketing, as well as planning an investment stage apporpriate net zero roadmap and action plan.
