Akasacara Film is a small independent multimedia company based in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Akasacara Film has a role to provide creative innovation in multimedia. Akasacara Film produced a film and distributed it to film festivals and cinemas. The creations which have been produced by Akasacara Film include narrative films, documentary films, company profiles, advertisements, video tutorials, infographic videos, 2D and 3D animation, video projection mapping, and visual effects. In 2018, Akasacara Film succeeded in releasing the first feature film entitled TENGKORAK / SKULL (science fiction) which reached the national cinema market despite the zero A-list actors and the 98% of its crew being non-professional volunteers. Akasacara Film succeeded to get 41,194 audiences in cinema. Not only the national cinema market, but Akasacara Film’s SKULL has also successfully reached international markets and Festivals, including Indonesia on Screen Babylon Berlin Germany, ASEAN International Film Festival, Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival, Cinequest VR Film Festival, Asia Africa International Film Festival & BaliNale International Film Festival. It was brought by Taiwan Television and legal streaming in the USA. It is also planned to be launched in a new legal streaming service in Indonesia.
