Akela Ground Engineering was formed in 2019 to compliment the already well-established Akela Group companies.
Akela Ground Engineering staff are professionally trained engineers having combined experience of over 75 years in the specialist foundation industry, with experienced site operatives who have a proven history of delivering geotechnical projects throughout the UK on a variety of sectors/projects, e.g. residential properties, retail units, distribution warehouses, Ministry of Defence infrastructure and industrial sites such as petrochemical works.
The company have a dedicated in-house geotechnical design team, providing specialist support in the following areas:
·Design of bespoke deep foundations based on site soil investigations.
·Precast and Insitu Concrete Ground beam package designs.
·Designing ground engineering solutions such as retaining walls, soil stabilisation and ground improvement schemes.
·Piling platform design
·Geotechnical advice and feasibility studies to consultants and contractors for piling and other specialist ground engineering techniques.
·Interpretation and reporting on CPT site investigation results.
Our offices in Kildare, Glasgow and Derbyshire give us good geographical coverage across Ireland, Scotland and England.
