3rd November, 2002 was the day of inception of Akij Cement. We are evolving day by day by the virtue that we have to manufacture products respecting consumer’s needs, which was the exemplified education given by the honorable founder Late Sheikh Akij Uddin. In manufacturing cement, we study the construction engineering interpretations and try to perceive the changes marked in architecture. We cherish the consumers view to accept the change by exploring the reason behind the variable demands of consumers. Akij Cement started its production in Kadam Rasul, Bandar, Naryangonj on November 2002. This factory has the capacity to produce 1.26 million MT per year which will be double this year. Country's first Vertical Roller Mill (VRM) technology, strong backward & forward logistic support, large distribution network, experienced manpower, highly equipped laboratory and uses of quality raw materials from Japan, Thailand & Vietnam makes it the most popular and quality cement in Bangladesh.
